You may have noticed that the Eternal Legions Server has been down, due to setbacks and the "hacker" attack for the host provider we had tried to reconstruct Eternal Legions from the ashes. With everything that has happened the Eternal Legions server will go down as well as this site, but worry not.
WORRY NOT! We have a new server that we plan on hosting all the Eternal Legions Members upon, but we are not calling it Eternal Legions. We are calling it Helix-craft, if you want to join the server or talk to other members of the Server, or visit the forums use this Link: http://helix-craft.com/

There are some very important things that you must know about the recent changes that have occured and how they have affected the server, and how it may impact your gameplay.
First of all, extremely sorry about the map reset, it was not what I wanted to do, it was not something I could prevent, our server's old map exceeded the maximum size of the physical drive of the machine that our server was hosted on, and it crashed 31 other servers, a total of 33 servers including our AOTB and TPPI servers. Every server's map got corrupted, and everyone had to reset, this was originally blamed on our server by the host, but they realized it was their own fault and they apologized. I must convey these apologies to you, as I regret that dreadful reset as much as you do.
But now that we have a fresh beginning, and some of you are wonderful and generous enough to understand that this was an unforeseen event, you have continued to be a part of this server, and I respect you for that.
Since we have a fresh new map, we have a few notable changes that might interest you:
Flans mod has been unbanned (Grenades can be used to destroy the wilderness and hence will remain banned, All Flans guns and Mechas are unbanned)
Archimedes ships is currently unbanned, although it has been causing a lot of lag lately, and I still have to arrive on a decision on whether to ban it or not. Archimidies is now banned.
Luggages have been unbanned (Needs further testing)
We have a new custom spawn that looks beautiful (Or at least I think so)
Kits have been fixed, you may see the available kits using the /kit command.
/warp shop has been redesigned and constructed by your very own Admin o_Miny_o. Please don't forget to thank him for it.
A few minor improvements in the configs to boost performance.
Minions will remain banned since they can be used to grief. And some people took that opportunity and got banned.
Our TPPI server has not been getting many players, and due to the vastness of the modpack and the extensive resources it needs to run a lag free server, it was not feasible for me to reset the map and start the server again, so I had to shut it down for now. I am willing to start another modpack server, which essentially would need to be popular enough to get a decent amount of players, your suggestions to this dilemma are more than welcome.
About Minecraft's name change update: All the people who change their names will NOT be given their ranks back or their items or claims or anything in-game. The reason for this is that any Minecraft version below 1.7.10 (Such as 1.6.4) that is basically all the versions that modpacks run on, DO NOT support name changes because they were not designed to support UUIDs. With that being said, every player that changes their name will be treated as a fresh account or a new player, since the plugins simply do not have the functionality to transfer your belongings to another username. Anyone requesting this will not be entertained, simply because I can't, even if I wanted to. Please take a not of this, this is IMPORTANT.
Lastly, I would request all of you to vote for the server everyday, and continue to do so everyday, your votes keep the server popular. Also, I must state that with the server running on such high end machines, the cost involved is very high. The server's monthly costs were being covered by the previously recieved donations, but not anymore. I would appreciate it if you guys could contribute a little bit, just a little bit to help towards the costs, all donations are used ONLY for the server's welfare, I can assure you that. And we have some wonderful things that come with Donor ranks, you may have a look at them in the store, or in-game using /buy. [The link to the store can be fetched in-game using /shop]

As you guys already know, with the previous crash that we had with the hosting, which was quite severe, we have been introduced with chunk errors in the map that we had that have been causing a lot of server crashes.
My best reaction would have been to completely reset the map, which would clear everything that has been built till date, and reset inventories and ender inventories as well. But I know that it would piss off a lot of people, so I came up with a viable solution to the problem.
I have generated a new world that is accessible at /warp newworld
This world has new chunks and is free of any errors, and everyone is requested to move their belongings to the new world as soon as they can. The old world will be DELETED in about a week's time. So everyone has enough time to move their belongings. I will try and put the old world up for a download in case anyone needs it.
Another issue that needed addressing is the griefing problem that comes bundled with Towny. Hence, the new world will use GOLDEN SHOVEL claims for grief prevention. Towny is not disabled in the new world, but if you do happen to create a town, it will be deleted when I remove Towny along with the old world. This is to ensure that the problems we have with Towny databases getting corrupt, and people bypassing Towny to grief are eliminated, and we do not encounter these issues in the future.
To promote the use of the golden shovel claims, the store has been updated with bonus claim blocks that can be purchased using the points gained from voting. More store items will be added soon, but lets deal with the crucial things first.
Donor ranks will be given bonus claims with respect to their ranks, and if you don't have them, please make a post on the forums, or ask me in game and I will add them for you.
Please relay this information to the members that are unaware and also the new people that join the server. The easiest way would be to link them to this post.
